Mattson Ricketts regularly represents parties in environmental disputes before the NDEQ, the EPA and in state and federal courts. In Nebraska, the NDEQ can only impose civil penalties under the Nebraska Environmental Protection Act through District Court action. A listing of recent Enforcement Resolutions involving NDEQ can be accessed here: http://www.deq.state.ne.us/. The firm represented a significant percentage of the parties in these Enforcement Resolutions. In addition, the firm has a long tradition of representing parties in court actions involving groundwater contamination and other environmental claims.
